It's Resectable! :)

Good evening everyone,

Nathan had to go to the clinic today for a weight check and to have his blood counts checked. He is up 5 ounces since Tuesday, so it seems that the feeding tube is helping him gain weight. His blood counts were great too.

However the surgeon wants Nathan to be up to at least 11 pounds before surgery & feels that he needs another round of chemo before surgery. The tumor is still close to the blood vessel going to the right lobe of his liver, but it is still re-sectable he is just hoping that a 5th cycle will shrink it away more, plus it gives Nathan a chance to gain more weight. We knew that this could be a possibility so it wasn't a huge suprise to us. We will be admitted on Monday to start the 5th cycle. The feeding tube will remain in until after surgery which will probably be some time around the beginning of June. The good news is that he is no where near needing a transplant and it completely re-sectable.

Thanks for your continued prayers and support.
