Nathan update 9/30/08

Hi Everyone!

We have a wonderful praise report to give all of you!!!  Nathan went to the doctor last Thursday for his monthly checkup & he is now 18 lbs 12 oz and about 27".  That's a long way from our little boy that wouldn't get over 10 lbs for over 3 months.  He is doing great, still taking a few bottles everyday & eating baby food 3 times a day (and he loves to eat now). We also got the results of his AFP (the level that was 150,000 in the beginning) and it is now 8!!!  Ten is normal for his age & one of the doctors told us that he could be over a year old before we saw single digits & look where we are now and he isn't even 9 months old yet (even though he will be on the 7th of October).  Matt & I give God all of the glory for this wonderful miracle!

We are planning a gathering on Saturday, October 18th for everyone to celebrate Nathan's wonderful victory with us.  Please join us!  The time and place will be sent out once final plans have been made for this wonderful celebration!!!  We were thinking about having it at a park in Fort Oglethorpe, but we are open for suggestions if anyone know of any other places we can do this.

On another happy note, I (April) started at Unum a couple of weeks ago!  Nathan is currently staying with at a home daycare 3 days a week and with my dad the other two, but starting next week my dad will be keeping him everyday while Matt & I work.

Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers and please continue to remember Nathan in your prayers!

Matt, April, Caleb & Nathan
