Another wonderful Nathan update 10/16/2008

Praise God!  That's all I have to say about the results of Nathan's CT scan that he had on Monday.  Nathan also went to the doctor a couple of weeks ago and got a wonderful report there as well.  His AFP (that was 150,000 when diagnosed) is now only 8, which is normal.  According to Nathan's Oncologists anything below 10 is normal and they told us that he could be over a year old before it was single digits & look where we are now!  He is now growing and eating so well without the feeding tube!  We have a normal, healthy baby boy now!  He is trying to crawl and pullup now, so pretty soon he will be all over the place.
Also, Caleb got his report card today & he did great!  He had seven A's and one B.  He even earned a certificate for this and a free personal pan pizza from Pizza Hut!
Thank you all for your prayers and support through this all.  We are still praising God for everything that He has done for us and seen us through!
Please go to and search matthewkelly75, to see several recent videos of Nathan.
God Bless,
Matt, April, Caleb & Nathan

Hey guys!

Lisa Lowrey, Kambryn's mom, and I have set up a Vanderbilt Children's Hemonc Forum for our families, past and present, to get together and chat. Our hope is that we can have a place for families going through active treatment to get to know each other... families whose kids are done with treatment can talk about what's next and families with angels to connect for friendship and support. We also hope to start raising awareness for Childhood Cancer here in Middle Tennessee as well as help the families going through active treatment. Basically this is one solid place to connect and hopefully help find a cure for this horrible cancer that has drawn our families together. Check it out and let us know what you think. If you have any ideas or questions we would love to hear them! Also, please feel free to pass this info along to other Vanderbilt families... I know I have missed several, so the more we get the word out the better the forum will be! We hope to see you over there!
